External PIR Detector

The GJD Elite is a standalone passive infrared detector that can control CCTV cameras, DVR recorders, lighting and switching of all low voltage units.

This external detector is ideal for CCTV applications, to either control a PTZ dome camera, or to activate external lighting or DVR alarm inputs. It offers seven different operation modes, allowing the two pairs of volt-free relays to have various arrangements for the normally open and normally closed outputs. In addition the GJD Elite™ has a selection of timing and functional options for the relay contacts.

There are other parameters of this unit which include a pulsecount feature, timed changeover and a choice of detection ranges of between 10 and 30 meters.

It also has two switched negative outputs. The ’A’ output gives a single 400ms trigger every time the detector activates and is generally used in conjunction with the GJD lighting controllers to give 24-hour visual and audible alarm indication.

Whilst the ‘S’ output is the only photocell-controlled output giving a fixed 60-second trigger on activation. The flexibility of the four outputs and timers allows the Elite to be used in multiple situations without the need for any further customised equipment.

Installation times are reduced by the integral dual axis tilt sensor, which allows 180º of pan and 90º tilt, in addition to reducing install times this also provides incredibly accurate aiming of the detection pattern.

The GJD Elite detector is housed in a high impact ABS, vandal resistant housing, the effective design totally hides all wiring whilst giving a neat appearance.
